Their website rejected my bad review. Beware of these guys. They attempted to sell me a $400 12v car battery so I did a quick google and found the same battery for $180 less at a local dealership and called back. They then magically found an option $150 cheaper than the original quote. All this happened in the span of 5 minutes. That is either negligence or dishonesty. Edit: I took my Prius back to MWA as we have used this mechanic for many years. They quoted me a $3800 repair and stated my engine needed to be rebuilt due to a leaky cylinder. MWA charged me for the diagnosis. I took my car to crown and they pressure tested the coolant, among other tests and found no problem. They did not recommend any repairs to my vehicle. Also, they did not charge me for the diagnosis. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH MAPLEWOOD AUTO. Pretty sure they've got some dishonesty in their group now. Somebody needs to be fired over that one. I won't be back.
We are sorry to hear of your negative experience. Unfortunately, our service advisor did not double-check the price for your battery before quoting. Our service advisor did catch this error which caused the $150 decrease. We never want our customers to feel as though they are being taken advantage of or we are being dishonest regarding our prices. Transparency and honesty are very important to us. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Thank you.
