Listen I have loved maplewood up to this point which is why I gave 3 stars still. Had them do an oil change and replace license plate light for 50 bucks, not a huge amount. They call and leave me a voicemail saying it’s ready to pick up! Great! But then when my wife picks it up the guy at desk is like oh hey your rear axle mounts are toast we recommend selling the car as it’s unfixable. Well that would have been nice to know first, but hey maybe they didn’t notice until after they completed work. Then when my wife asks if the part about axle mounts is on paperwork so she can tell me they are like oh no it’s not let’s print you out a different copy. So they didn’t mention it in voicemail and they didn’t have it on paperwork….

I came in for a synthetic oil change at a great price. They checked the car out for me. Had them rotate my tires. Hadn't done this in over 20,000 miles.

Mechanics are skilled and now what they are doing!

I went to Maplewood Auto for the first time and was very pleased with the service I received. I needed my alternator replaced and thought based off my dash lights that I would need some break work done. They were very honest about the work I actually needed and completed the work very quickly. The only downside was the wait time to actually get an appointment but it was worth it given the service received. They didn't charge more than they quoted and their communication was excellent.

Maplewood was very easy to work with. They took care of everything we needed and gave us some forecasts of things to be keep an eye on in the future. The people were cordial and fun. We are taking our other car in for a general inspection to them soon based on this experience.

They listen to you and then investigate what is happening. They will not do work without your ok
